I agree. There is definite satisfaction in installing some of these old games. Sometimes it's not easy to setup. Even in DOSBox. Like Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I had to fight with it for a while to finally get it to run. I'm currently struggling with Sierra Online's Boxing. Sometimes it runs fine, other times it crashes when you try to start a boxing fight. So I need to see if there's a way to fix the crashes. Fun stuff lol

Question - when it crashes - is it because you're using a custom fighter rather than one of the pre-generated (what? 55?). If so, I've seen the same issue.

No. I tried just using one of the fighters that you can select from the list

Interesting. So if I pick a normal boxer before my custom; it tends to work.
If I pick my custom first, when I do "19" to start the match I get:
Fatal Error: Cannot find BOXING.WR
Fatal Error: Abnormal termination of BOXING.OVR
- But the file it can't "find" is there; and weird it works one way but not another.

you wrote .WR but the screenshot shows .WB
But would be interesting to debug.

Maybe that's why DOSBox can't find it!

.WB means a Warner Brothers file.
Th-Th-The, Th-Th-The, Th-Th... That's all, folks!

Holy crap.
It wasn't a typo. The error does say
BOXING.WR
And there is
no Boxing.WR in the directory!
So I wonder when I yanked the files - if it's one of those hidden files that didn't copy. (I've long, long, long since lost my originals).
If I remember correctly, Sierra Championship Boxing was also one of those boot up disks (like the old KQ1 EGA I'd played).
EDIT: To be fair, now that I think of it, because of moving files off and on external drives, I have to be honest and say - now I am not entirely sure if these are from my own copy, or one of the times I yanked it down from
elsewhere.
