No mention of Quest for Glory either! Argh, argh, argh. :(

Speaking of which, I just purchased two new Sierra games (well, new to me, anyway) - The Dagger of Amon Ra and Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist. ;)

I'd never played the Laura Bow games, though I heard good things about them. I have played FPFP, waaay back in the DOS days (maybe over 25 years ago?). But in those days, naturally, there were no character voices, music or sound effects (other than the bleeps and bloops of PC speaker). I wonder what it would be like with actual speakers.

(And then I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time) ;)

*goes off, humming the Freddy Pharkas theme*

Pharkas, Freddy Pharkas.
Black gold fields were his legacy.
Freddy Pharkas, Freddy Pharkas.
Peerless, earless, and free ... :P
