Hm. I never got the chance to play Myst, except the original, and only for a few moments. What have I Myst?

(Sorry. *runs away to avoid being lynched for that horrible pun*)

This is the third remake. I don't consider Myst Masterpiece to be a remake any more than the CD version of Space Quest 4. It just uses 16-bit graphics over 8-bit and higher fidelity sound. realMyst is, however. And I also consider realMyst Masterpiece to be a remake considering the changes and the engine switch from the original realMyst (which I actually prefer).

It'll also be 2D. It apparently has an incredible amount of realistic detail but it also has new puzzles and an "optional puzzle randomization" feature. I'm so stoked for this I can't tell you. This is like the most definitive version yet.

I prefer the original realMyst as well. The newer version is impressive, but a bit plastic looking.

Yeah. In terms of number of remakes, this game is like Leisure Suit Larry 1.

(Don't get me wrong, I like LSL ... but remaking the game three times? What's next for Al Lowe - remaking it in "Elder Scrolls" fashion, so teenagers get a first-person POV of animated boobs?)

I am just saying if they did an LSL VR... I'm all in.

If you know what I mean.

And I think you do!
