I've missed it, but I hope you didn't! ;) Have fun saying "ARR!" to whoever you like, and swing yer cutlass, me hearties! ;)

*grabs a handy rope and swings away, with a yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rubbing alcohol* :P

Oh, dear - forgot me parrot. *AWK! Ya sure did, Graham!*

No, that's an owl. *AWK! Well, he saw through that disguise. Those cutlasses look dangerous, Graham!*

Cedric ... *facepalm* ... just go away, please. This isn't even your day. *HOOT! I mean, AWK! Every day is my day when I'm disguised as a parrot!*

Sigh. Hope you have a happy International TLaPD, everyone. I've got an owl to catch ... and wring its bloody neck ...

Yeah I was gonna do a thing on a Talk Like A Pirate FB page I run... but the entire day was so chaotic... I never got the chance. So I just posted this.

ARR. Well, at least you remembered ... I totally forgot until now.

Sigh. There's not much chance to celebrate TLaPD here in Australia, even in non-COVID years. :(

Al Lowe had posted some pirate jokes:
Why did the pirate cross the road? To go to the second hand shop!

Why are pirates good debaters? They like to aaaarrrrg-ue!

What do you call a pirate with two hands and two legs? Rookie!

Why is pirating so addictive? Lose one hand and you're hooked!

And I played some Redhook's Revenge and Muppets Treasure Island for good measure. :D
Redhook's Revenge runs well in DOSBox and can be downloaded here:

Speaking of games, Steam even had a sale (note, the page still exists but the sale is over - so most of the games reflect their normal price now)...
