Right. I asked if the item was in one of the scenes shown just not visible and you said yes. So are you in that scene with buffet table, but not visible in the screenshot?

(I wonder if the vanishing post thing is affecting me, too. I could have sworn I answered this earlier today, but I don't see it. I suppose I could have forgotten to hit "Submit", but...)

Tawmis wrote: Sat Apr 13, 2024 11:42 pm With the same assumption of what LSL7 considers food - is food visible on the screen you're found on?

(So for example if you're the ice sculpture, the answer would be yes, as we can see some of the food pates).
Um ... yes, there is "food" in the screen that I'm on. (I wouldn't call it edible, but you can eat it and it won't make you sick).

Um, no. I am not in the scene with the buffet table, visible or otherwise.

And you said yes. But we seem to have eliminated all three scenes: the buffet, the one with the spork, and the kitchen. So is it one of these three scenes, just not visible in the screenshot?

You're being misleading then. Because the questions have been "are you found/seen here" - which would be a YES.

For example: "Can you be found here" - viewtopic.php?p=99059#p99059
"Are you found here?" - viewtopic.php?p=99053#p99053
"Are you found here?" - viewtopic.php?p=99040#p99040

Sigh. All I can say is that one of those scenes changes over time, and that scene is where I would be.

Saying any more would spoil it.

Sorry - I didn't mean to be misleading, but since that particular scene changes, I won't be found there. Sorry! *blush*

The point is yes or no, though. So if it's on one of those screens and one of us asked if it is seen in that area, then the answer is yes.

And we'd go from there to try to continue getting clues or guessing.

Which is the point of the game.

And that was the question I was asking:
notbobsmith wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2024 11:59 pm Are you found in one of the scenes above, but just not visible in the screenshot?
And you answered yes.

And again:

And said yes again. So it must be in one of those three scenes, just not captured in the screenshot.

Tawmis and I asked about all three and you said no.

As NBS said: it is in one of those three scenes, just not in the screenshot.

I wasn't trying to mislead. But if I said that yes, it is in one of those screens, it would lead you in the wrong direction. :( Sorry!

Here is a clue: I am found in the kitchen, but not in the earlier screenshot.

Saying NO is far more misleading.

We are not asking if you're in THAT screen shot. It's if you're in that ROOM/SCREEN (no matter what).

So if you're not there, for example, during daylight, but appear there at night (just a random example) - it'd still be a yes.

Because you are in that area, just not at the time.

So you'd say yes.

We'd guess around what we see probably - or ask, "OK, are you seen during the day or night on this screen?"

For example.

An example, for Laura Bow 2. If I was thinking of the ghost.
And someone said "Are you in this area?" and it's the graveyard, but the ghost is present.
I'd still say yes.
And then people could try to narrow it down.

We did ask about the screenshots again after we found out it was not visible.

Anyway...

Kitchen, fine.

Are you the dead poodle?

I found it in a playthrough video and it's not in the screenshot.

Tawm ... OK, I misunderstood.

NBS is correct! I am Fifi, the dead poodle. You can only see her legs and tail.
