Leisure Suit Larry VII Playthrough and Youtube.

So I just replayed and recorded LSL7 - and there's a metric ton of cartoon nudity if you do all the eggs. So I googled and Youtube has a strict policy against nudity unless it's educational (like National Geographic).

So I looked at my video and was like, "Oh lawd."

But then came up with a fun edit.

It's saving now, and I'll upload it to Youtube tonight or this weekend.

I will probably play Space Quest next, since I've knocked out KQ and LSL.

   I've played LSL7 not long ago, so I can just imagine how much cartoony nudity there is in LSL7. I look forward to seeing your fun edits! I suppose you created censor bars to censor out all the "rude bits"?

I also remember that "Annette Boning" drops a handkerchief on Larry's ... fire hose. YouTube might have a problem with that, too.

But then, YouTube's policies are mighty stupid. :P After the "Black Lives Matter" protests (which are a serious thing and not a laughing matter at all), YouTube cracked down on someone's channel because he showed - of all things - chess games.

How are these related? Well, this guy would pause the game and show why the chess game went the way it did, and what might have happened if the masters played something else. For instance, he would say, "And in this position, white is better."

Clearly he meant the position on the board. But YouTube's algorithms caught the words "white is better" and thought "Ahhhhh!!! RACISM!!!!"  Anyway, the guy had to fight YouTube for 2 days to get his channel back.

Chess is racist now? When did that happen?

It's the stupidity of it, that made me come up with the fun idea. I did indeed make "censor bars" - but very unique. Well, in a round about way, unique! :D

It took until 1am (over 9 hours!) for the video to render. So I am going to upload it here shortly.

This will just be the playthrough - Commentary version in a day or so.

Finally uploaded... took forever. 4 hour video (non commentary) - The link below should take you to the "censor bar" is about to appear (might be difficult to see what it is, until the HQ processes on Youtube)...

Hmm ... is that you (with a ship's captain's hat) looking out of a porthole? ;)

I like the little "AWOOGAH!" (old-fashioned car horn) sound effect, too. That'll keep things at least PG-rated for YouTube.

What do you think -- how long before YouTube starts complaining that Drew Baringmore uses the words "rub", "nudism", "naked", "oil", and "body" in the same sentence?

That's me! It's a photoshop - where I remove Larry and put my face there instead. :D

The "Awoogah!" is actually from the game itself. :D

Rendering the commentary version; used the "speed up" trick to reduce it down to an hour.

Recorded commentary over it; reduced it some more.

Something I do (I think in the last two or three?) - when I speed up an already sped up part because I have nothing to say about it on the commentary, a hand with a remote appears. I believe I stole this from LSL5 or 6, and green screen that portion into my videos now. So you will randomly see a hand holding a remote and pressing fast forward from time to time. :D
Example of what I mean.
Example of what I mean.
Current rendering time is 2.5 hours; and then need to upload it.
