So what I do -

I screen shot the title screen (while playing in full screen mode, aspect ratio on in DOSBox).
Open up - in my case, paint shop pro.
Depending on what's going on on the screen - I crop out (try to remain as close to the aspect ratio) - then resize (for example, this one) - the width to 1925 (slight over the 1920 resolution). Copy that into a 1920x1080 blank image. And adjust accordingly. This one was really easy. The stuff like LSLVI was a pain to do; and sometimes I get "fancy" and add semi transparent images (like the Heart of China one).
