Inca II help

Post by dotkel50 »

Hi Folks,

I just scored Inca II, complete in the box. I installed it ok, started it up, and the mouse dosen't work. It occasionally moves of it's own volition but I can't control it. Anybody know how to fix this problem? I'm running it in DOSBox...never had this problem with any other game.

You can play with the mouse settings in the dosbox.conf, but the Coktel Vision CD games are problematic on anything but pure DOS. The Inca games are not yet supported by ScummVM, but eventually it may be your best option. If I get some time, I'll play around with it to see if I can figure anything out.

ok i just got inca 2 in the mail today. i had the same problem with the mouse as the above post. i fixed it but changing the autolock to true in the config file. it now works perfect. i also changed the fullresolution to 640x480 to make it fit full screen on my wide screen monitor. i didn't like the black bars on both sides of screen. but yeah autolock= true will fix the mouse problem. hope that helps.
