What's your reaction if you're on the plane?

And for the sake of argument - let's just pretend he's
not singing a religious song. Just some normal, every day, song that's the same beat/tempo as what he has going on.
So that way
we don't go down the ropes of religious debate.
More - someone - strumming their guitar, out loud singing, on a flight.
Video.

Well, when I was on commute I had that several times, one with a woman of foreign extraction breast-feeding and singing quite loudly, and once with a drunkard singing loudly and poorly. In both cases I just walked away. On the plane you have no option, so it'd be asking the steward if anything can be done.
Oooh most recently I had to listen to a woman bringing a very young child (under 2) trying to keep it occupied although it was way past its bed-time so crying incessantly, with a tablet and playing Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes dozens of times. I went away in a huff, you can't read a book that way.

Well, with the woman with the crying child - probably not much she could have done. She's at the mercy of her child's mood.
However, the man on the plane - like your other examples - was, he himself, making the commotion.
Like you, I would have definitely asked the steward to ideally silence him.

I'm sorry if this sounds rude, Tawmis, but what kind of ridiculous question is this? There's nothing I could do.
If I respond physically at all, I'll be arrested and charged with assault (or potentially worse).
If I ask him to stop, he'll either ignore me, tell me to STFU, or someone onboard will likely also tell me to STFU in defense of him because people (in general) never miss an opportunity to show the world just how much of an asshole they are. Additionally, social media will applaud them for it and you KNOW this would get posted online where I'd become the target of incessant verbal attacks and rampant meme-like mockery.
So in the end, I'd be forced to endure that moron's idiotic song, which means I'll need to have planned ahead and packed noise-blocking headphones in my carry-on (which is unlikely as I'm not shoving a pair of $300+ headphones into whatever tiny bag they now allow passengers to bring on with them) or spend as long as I can in the restroom, only to emerge when this half-wit is done giving me a headache or when the cabin crew force me to take my seat.

I would grab the headphones on the plane and try to listen to anything else. (Not because it's a religious song, but because I don't like listening to music that's basically being
forced on me). It's like the Flanders family showing up at Homer's door and singing hymns at him. At least Homer can close the door.
My biggest issue with this, though, is that we're in the middle of a pandemic, and these people are maskless ... on a PLANE ... and no-one can get away.
It's a super-spreader!
So yes, I'd definitely approach a steward/stewardess and ask if anything can be done.

Well, like BBP - we both said call a steward to ask for him to stop.
However, some people might be like it's harmless - like it's not loud or offensive (again, assuming it was non religious music). And would be like, "People are enjoying themselves."

The maskless is why they believe it was a flight in Europe. Where the Mask Mandate is not there.
And it's been awhile since ye have flown? Planes don't supply headphones anymore.

Just flew Thursday and Sunday here in the US. Airlines
do supply them... for a price.

Oh, maybe that's it. I always bring my iPad (movies and music) and bluetooth headset and haven't seen a stewardess walk by asking if anyone needs headsets in... eons.

My flights had video monitors in the back of the headrest of the seat in front of you (probably standard now across the airlines -- I fly so infrequently as of late), and the head flight attendants mentioned during the initial welcoming announcements that headphones could be purchased, if desired.

You're absolutely right!
I remember back in the day they'd walk down the aisle and ask if you wanted one of those massive stethoscope headsets.

Ugh, I remember those!
The unaccompanied minor (UM) in our row got a free pair, and now they are just cheap ones like you'd get with the Nintendo GameBoy back in the day.

All right, granted - I haven't flown since 2015 - but back then, there was a monitor in the back of the seat in front of me and a back of headphones, which I could use for music or movies.
As for
why I don't fly more often? I work in healthcare, so I'm lucky if I can get a day off.
P. S. Don't ask me about selfish, entitled customers (or selfish/entitled parents-of-customers).

Well I was corrected - they do offer them. For a price, and mention at the beginning of their presentation before the flight takes off.
