I can't reply to that FB comment
about the purple trees in San Diego Collector, on that profile - but yes - they're all over my work campus.
And where I used to live on Bonita Street in Spring Valley, we had a big one in our back yard.

Neal Hallford. He was a Dynamix designer/writer, famous for
Betrayal at Krondor. I believe he lives in your area.

Aye, they're beautiful.
However, if they're near doors it's a pain because those flowers fall and become very sticky and will clump and stick to your shoes.

Ah, those trees. Yep, we have them here in Melbourne too. Here's one from the Royal Botanical Gardens ...

Yeah - it's just crazy because San Diego being mostly desert - there's rarely color in our landscape. Until these trees bloom.
