The idea is - the start will start with a question.

The next poster, continues the story - but they must answer the question.

But somehow fit in another question (which ideally is at the end).

So for example, I might write:

John saw a man standing alone, wearing a watch. He approached and asked, "Do you have the time?"

Someone could reply:

"Why, yes I do. Why do you ask?"

Then someone else could add:

"I have an appointment at 9pm. Is it almost 9pm?"

Then another might say:

"Yes, it is. Where is your appointment?"

And so on and so on.

So I will start:

John saw a man standing alone, wearing a watch. He approached and asked, "Do you have the time?"

"No, I don't. My watch is broken. Do you know of any watch repair places?"

"There's one just down the street where I bought a watch years ago. What model of watch is yours?"

"It's a knock off Rolex. Why aren't you wearing the watch you bought?"

"I forgot it at home. May I rob you of your watch, please?"

"No! Help! Police!" A police officer arrives. "What's going on here?"

"Well, that escalated quick. Toodle-oo, don't you know, and all that?"

"No, I don't know," the officer replied. "Won't either of you explain what is going on?"

"He was going to steal my watch. That's still illegal in this country is it not?"

"Yes, sir, it is," said the officer. "Sir, did you try to steal this man's watch?"

"Certainly not, officer. All I said was 'May I rob you of your watch, please?' That's not an attempt to steal, that's a civil question. He could just have said no, am I right?"

"No. What you said could be considered a threat. You sir. Do you want to press charges?"

"No, I'd prefer pressing weights. Any other questions?"

"Just one. Why shouldn't I bring you in for wasting my time?"

"Because I didn't? I was on my way to the grocery store when this man stopped me and asked me what model of watch is mine. May I go now, please?"
