To help provide clues as to who is hiding behind a MASQ... this game is a simple one.

You challenge the next post to post about one game category of you choice from down below, after you answer the previous post.

The game must be one you've at least played - even if you didn't like it, you can post about it.

Reply with the name of the game you're speaking of, then what you liked, didn't like, memories, something about a game to that genre.

The category of games (and some examples) are -

Action games (Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Space Invaders, etc)
Action-adventure games (Legend of Zelda, Resident Evil, Castlevania, etc)
Adventure games (King's Quest, Final Soul, Hitch Hiker's Guide To the Galaxy, Leisure Suit Larry, etc)
Role-playing games (Mass Effect, Fallout, Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights, Rogue, EverQuest, World of Warcraft, etc)
Simulation games (Sim City, The Sims, etc)
Strategy games (Warcraft, Starcraft, Command & Conquer, Civilizations, Age of Empires, etc)
Sports games (Well, this should be obvious...)
Puzzle games (Tetris, and the like)
Idle games (Chess, Checkers, Minecraft, etc)

So for example, if I said "Tell me about an adventure game you played" - someone might reply, "Codename Iceman, and it was difficult. I want the next person to tell me about a role playing game they played" and so on and so on.

So I will make this start off easy - I am asking for the next poster to talk about an Adventure Game (title) that they played.

I recently played "Brok The InvestiGator". Fun, well written, and great '90s cartoon art style. Tell me about an Action Game you played.

I do not often play Action Games. The last one I played was Team Fortress 2.

Tell me about a Strategy game you played.

I haven't really played many strategy games. I guess SWAT 2 counts. I finished it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

What puzzle games have you played?

Vurt der gurk is puzzle game? Puzzlen gamen nae floorty flumpty! I don't play dem shoopin.

Tell me about an Action-Adventure game you played.

I've been recently playing Transformers: Devastation. Original voice cast. Designs from the cartoon. And fun gameplay.

What sports games have you played?

Sporten gamen nae floorty flumpty! I do not play dem.

Tell me about an old Adventure game you played.

I think everyone here has played most of the Sierra adventures. Outside of Sierra, I've played the Ringworld games from Tsunami. They were okay. They were too easy and a little tedious is places.

Tell me about an RPG that you played.

I played a game called "Iratus: Lord of the Dead", a roguelike RPG. It's fine, but it's clearly inspired by Darkest Dungeon. The story is paper-thin (a necromancer is reawakened and tries to take over the kingdom; that's it), the voice-acting isn't as good as Darkest Dungeon, and most of the enemies (even bosses) are unmemorable. On the other hand, it's shiny and looks good. /s

Tell me about a recent adventure game you played.

I played The 7th Guest somewhat recently. I know it was big when it came out, but I'm not really sure what the big deal was.

Tell me about an action game you played.

You mean roguelike? I don't think I've ever played one of those.

Tell me about a simulation game that you've played.

I think I once played the first Sims. It simmed like a waste of time.

Tell me about an Action-adventure game that you played.

I haven't played many racing games. I did play Gran Turismo 3. I think that was the number. It came out on the PS2. Anyway it was pretty enjoyable but I just really didn't get into it.
