Hi folks,
I just got a game off Ebay that i want to play but it turns out to be an old Mac game. So i downloaded AppleWin......now what? My floppy drive isn't compatible with Mac. How does this AppleWin emulator work? I didn't find any documentation. I have a Vista 64 bit system. The help file in AppleWin doesn't work with 64 bit. I'd appreciate any help or advice, thanks.

I suppose you now have four options:
1. Try finding a different Apple emulator.
2. Try finding an Apple diskette drive that might actually work with Windows or DOSBox.
3. Somehow get an old Apple computer.
4. Download the game off the Internet and run it with an Apple emulator.
There might be other options as well, but I don't know what they'd be at this point. Even though it's illegal, I would've opted for the fourth choice.

Is it a Mac game or an Apple game? You need to find disk images for AppleWin. If it is an old Mac game, try
Basilisk. You will need to install the Mac OS in it. Apple has System 7x for free download somewhere on their site. A folder can be mounted as a drive in it.

How does that work?
Installing the OS? Would you install the OS on your hard drive?
Then run DOSBox, mount the directory on your HD that has the OS, then launch the OS?

Basilisk is a pre PPC Mac emulator. You need to install the OS inside of the emulator, much as you would install Win 3x inside of DOSBox.
