Another post by Collector on the book of faces, that I figured I'd post here.

ha ha jerks :) I tried the keyboard, which you control by holding the ctrl key and then pressing Q for C, w for D, E for E (heyyyyy!) etcetera.

So I press ctrl+W...

Um, I'm not sure what you're referring to, BBP. Ctrl+W simply closes the browser tab on the AGILE games. *shrug* What's so interesting about that?

I have three more things to say about this:

1. Some of these other AGI/SCI games don't seem to have much point. I tried the "AGI 256 Demo", but it has one screen, and you can't actually go anywhere or do anything. I realise it's a demo, but OK. It's not much of a game.

2. I also tried AGI Trek ... and died. :( I'm not sure what to do there.

3. Lastly, you can't actually play the Sierra games unless you already have them installed. So ... if you have them installed, why not just play them? :)

Maybe so ye don't have to configure DOSBox? No idea, not tried yet with games I own. Was just enjoying some of the silly games.

I have to check some of these out. This was the interpreter we tested a while ago, right?

Yes, it is. Although that was a .exe and not browser based, so this is kinda cool to see. :)

I tried playing the V game, because I loved the original series and tv movie of it... but couldn't get far.

Which is why I was going to download it from SHP - viewtopic.php?p=99555#p99555 - but the download link doesn't work. :(

Also when I tracked it down - looks like the site for it is long gone, so the game was probably never finished. Which is sad.

Not quite. The interpreter that I helped with was a C# standalone program. Agile-gdx is a JAVA port with a little JS and HTMLto run in a browser. I had nothing to do with Agile-gdx.

Exactly. You want to play a D on the keyboard and you end up closing the browser window. :D
