Sierra-A-Rama, one of the oldest surviving Sierra fansites, has this picture in its KQ7 gallery. I remember seeing this picture back when I first started getting into the fandom back in 2000, and never recalled hearing where the picture originated. I've never seen any of these character sprites in the KQ7 resource files; in fact, most of the sprites look like inked and colored versions of the pencil sketches that came with the Roberta Williams Anthology.
Does anyone know where this picture came from (and whether any better versions of it still exist)?

I think it's only a promotional piece of artwork. I remember seeing this in an issue of InterAction.
