If you used the installer from this site it should work, but it must be able to copy the files to the hard drive. The speech is in the big RESOURCE.AUD file. if this file is missing from the installation folder you will have no speech. If there are other files that are missing you may have other issues. Try copying all of the files on the CD to your hard drive and then burn it to a new CD.

Thanks for the advice, I has installed the vdms program and game with the patch of this site in a PC with Windows XP Service Pack2 with my cd and everything runs all right but when I tried the same thing in a PC with Windows XP Pack 3 the music doesn't run, the cursor is all right, the voices are ok, the sound effects works perfectly but the music doesn't run, what can I do now?

PS: The CD that I used in both was my original CD

Can you hear MIDIs in Media Player? You can find a MIDI file in your Windows\Media folder.
