There's a website I visit called TV Tropes and it's a wiki dedicated to the "tricks of the trade when writing fiction." Yes, I copied that off the home page.
On TVT, I found a few sections related to Adventure games that we might all enjoy (listed below). What's really cool is that you can add/edit ANY entry you want. In other words, if there's something written that's incorrect, you can fix it; likewise, you can write a new entry if it never existed.
I added an entry into the Unwinnable section about Police Quest II. Check and see if there's anything you can add or edit.
