Calling all that has any of the new Quest collections. I have developed my "patches" to allow the use of DOSBox 0.65 with the collections. I would like to include the NRS patches with my "patcher," but I would like to be sure that there are no problems with NRS's patches with the collections. If you have the new collections, please try the NRS patches and let me know if all goes well. NewRisingSun's page can be found here:

For those that want to try my DOSBox 0.65 fix, here are links to download them. Let me know if you have any issues with them. Remember, you must install DOSBox 0.65 and the collections in their default locations, first.

Someone on the Sierra boards is testing the SQ games, but does not want to test the PQ games. The Larry games need to be tested, too.
You might also be interested in this. It is a patch that I am working on to upgrade KQ7 ver 1.4 (Windows only) to ver 2 (DOS) so it can be played in DOSBox to avoid the firecracker bug and so it can be played in future versions of Windows. I plan to include it in my KQ Collection patch. I would love it if we could talk NewRisingSun into combining the graphics from the Windows version of KQ6 with the DOS version (much like he did with SQ4.) The KQ Collection would then be near perfect.

See, now this is why I like having you host the info on tawmis.com - so easy for me to access. This weekend I will give it a whirl.

Re: NewRisingSun patches & the new collections
Just an update - I have yet to do this. My head feels like it's spinning because it feels like I have a lot on my plate at the moment! But I will definitely try to get to this over the long weekend and get it installed (bot the DOSBox stuff as well as the KQ7 stuff), and give it all a whirl!
