King's Quest 6 - WINDOWS - Full screen

I was wondering if there was any trick or way I could make the windows version of 6 run in full screen. Whenever I click the full screen window box, it just blows up to a huge black square with the game playing in a small window in the upper left corner of my screen. And it seems that no matter how I change my screen resolution, I can never get it to work quite right. If I try to do it the complicated way, and resize the window manually, it always ends up the same way, with the actual gameplay area reducing in size to the same spot.

Have you tried setting it to run in 640x480 compatibility mode and if so, does you resolution actually change? If not, you can try
MultiRes.

Yes, it changes, and Ive been playing with that program and with some others.
It may just be a thing with the windows version. When you run it, does it run in true full screen mode, without any of the quirks I mentioned?

The game will run as a maximized window, not true full screen. For true full screen you would need to run the DOS version, but then you would not have the high rez dialog portraits.

It's only "full-screen" if you run in 640x480 resolution. The game window doesn't actually upscale to full-screen in higher resolutions. You need to play in 640x480.

I know, it just seemed like he was asking if it was possible to have full-screen in higher resolutions. I was trying to clear it up.
