ScummVM 1.0 has finally been released. The ScummVM team had been waiting for the green light on the Discworld games to be freewared, but there has been a delay in this. Version 1.0 does support the Diskworld games, but you will need to provide your own copies for now. Besides the Scumm games and all of the other games that ScummVM supports, and the freewared games available for download on the ScummVM site, it also supports the Sierra AGI games and the Coktel Vision games.
The SCI games are not yet supported with this release, but development continues. The good news is that with the release of version 1.0 you no longer have to compile the SVN (developmental) source of ScummVM yourself or download the Buildbot to try out the SCI progress, since the SCI engine is again enabled in the SVN builds of the interpreter.
