We have reached 10,000 posts on these boards. I was wondering when it would happen for a while, now, but failed to reach it for the 1 year anniversary. It has been quiet on the other Sierra boards, but at least there has been some steady activity here.

I'm happy that at least here it's lively :D

Yes! I have checked the Larry forums from time to time; but nothing. But that's fine. I'd rather have it here; more centralized; rather than thinner posts spread out over many different Sierra forums.

I agree. The same happened to me with the Police Quest board, when it was still online*, but it is indeed better to have all the discussions gathered here.

* Almirena, where art thou?

I tried to email her for you, but received no reply from her Gmail account. I don't know if Tawm has a more recent address or not. If we can get no response form her, there are other options. You can PM me if you want to explore those options.

If Tawm - or any other one, for that matter - doesn't have a sure way to contact Almirena, I most certainly PM you. Even if the forum was pretty much devoid of partecipants, I'd like to have at least the site back ;)

Ironically I just emailed her last week.

She's got much going on. But has wanted to return. So is the PQ site down and she alone has access to it?

I will let her know.

Andrea and I have FTP access, but The site and domain have expired. It was being hosted by Almirena and Andrea has been unable to contact her to renew. I agree, even if the boards are not active, it would be nice to have the main site back up and fleshed out a little more with walkthroughs, more reviews, etc. To at least be a resource for the series.

Also the forums of the Chest have been non-active for several months now, with exception of a few posts. That's ok with me to have things centralized. As Tawm said, it is probably better than thinning out the community over several boards. To be honest, i'm even considering taking the Chest forums down and link to the Help Pages for public discussion. The problem is that i'm the only one covering the later titles also.

The site is booming though. It just reached its 40,000th visitor today, YAY :D. Things may change when the site goes into its second stage of development though, which is coming closer to reality now. "Second stage? What do you mean?" :P
After some 10 to 20 more games have been inserted, the plan is to activate site membership, allowing members to write and score reviews, set up polls and discussions within the gamepages of the site itself, create a system for members to create and store their own Sierra collection, set up occasional competitions with prizes, and launch the Chest's first game server to revive the multiplayer games which Vivendi took down. So there you have it, and i'm not yet gonna say what the third stage will be ;).

I could setup a forum here for the later games and make you mod for it.

Andrea, I see that policequestseries.com is back up. Did you manage to finally get ahold of Almirena?

Ehm, no to be honest. But I asked Tawm to contact Almirena on my behalf. I hope that she will soon contact me, so that we can settle everything out ;)

She probably did whatever to turn it back on. She didn't even email me back to say she had.
