I believe it's the Ring. Because it has the insignia.

The coin has King Graham's face, not the insignia. ;)

Let's see who is right...

If either of us.

Are you coin that Alexander finds in the treasure box?

I will go rampant .................................................................. there could (and should) be a rampant on the side of the coin. A rampant is a style of heraldry
The start and end of a deed ..................................................... it's a bit of a stretch, but a deed (i.e. a legal deed) starts when you pay a lawyer to draft one
But where is the coat? ............................................................ we're told that Graham's head is on the coin, but we don't see a coat of arms

Found in the open .................................................................. yes, it's found under the plank
Avid players know how to look ................................................... first rule of adventure gaming: always look at everything and pick up everything :P
Looks like you will have to canvas the area for clues ........................ yes! You have to find it!

Has something to do with art .................................................... coins can have art on them
Not on any of the islands ......................................................... yes! The coin came from the ship, in the box! :P
Travels with Alexander ............................................................ the coin travelled with Alexander from Daventry ...
More specific ....................................................................... the coin travelled on the ship! :D

Am I right? ;)
No

Are you the sails of the ship? Which have the coat of arms, blow in the wind, etc? :)

I think I will give it to you. I was thinking of the coat of arms itself.

I will go rampant - A lion rampant is a symbol of heraldry
The start and end of a deed - The word "deed" starts and ends with the letter "D", seen on the coat of arms
But where is the coat? - The coat of arms, obviously

Avid players know how to look - This clue can be looked at two ways:"A vid" or AVI, as in the video file format. A clue that it is in the intro video
Looks like you will have to canvas the area for clues - The canvas of a sail

Argh! I took "avid" in its literal sense, i.e. "keen". (And in some instances, I misread "avid" as "Ovid", ancient Roman writer famous for his *ahem* overly romantic poetry ... and thought, "Surely that has to do with Cassima?" ;) So it confused me).

*sulks sarcastically* :P No fair. The letter "D" was on the coin too. ;) No worries. 'TIs but a game. Well done, Tawm! :)

Wait, hold on. I think I know this one. Are you the breath spray from LSL1? :)

Sorry to guess it so quickly. Maybe I know Larry's adventures better than I thought. :D

I am. :)

I purposely made it painfully easy, because I do not have the brain power right now (work is... insane....) to watch this thread and try to offer a lot of clues (which is why I've not been posting nearly as much as I used to).

Your turn!

Uh, this one you're supposed to give three clues. :D

But... I might as well throw out the standard - are you in a game with 'Quest' in the title?

Whoops! Here are my three clues:

Woof, woof!
I'll help you breathe
or maybe I won't.

(Yes, I know I'm being cryptic) ;)

And no, there is no 'Quest' in the title.

Does the game primarily take place on Earth (such as Leisure Suit Larry, Gabriel Knight, etc)?

Are you in a game where the main character is male (Gabriel Knight, Codename: Iceman, etc)?
