I though you said you were inside here. I'm rereading these responses and am genuinely confused.

Well ... (another clue) ... you asked:

And I answered that yes, I am. But that area contains both the "inside" of these places (the inn, the Adventurer's Guild, the Thieves' Guild) and the "outside" (i.e. outside the inn and so on).

You asked "Can you be found in Gnome Ann's Inn?" or "Can you be found in the Adventurer's Guild?", so I thought you meant inside.

WARNING - this clue gives the game away (or almost!) Do not read unless you'd like to be spoiled.

Again, I am confused. I went back through all of the responses and what I wrote is accurate based on your responses. You literally wrote "I am OUTSIDE the Thieves' Guild." As for the bank/magic shop level:

Can you be found in the next level down? It's where the bank and magic shop (I think) are located. It's been a while and screenshots are pretty sparse.

Uh ... yes, I can be found there. You mean the market? This is where you find the bank, the magic shop, the apothecary (with Salim and Julanar), the food stall with Marrak the katta, the jewelery stall (with Sarra the katta), Salla (Marrak and Sarra's daughter, who plays the flute), and Wolfie the, er ... dog-man? ... from Inja, who sells pottery (and can help you build a balloon).


Oh yeah, and wandering guards and townsmen, who you can't talk to.
