I am in Quest for Glory 2. In the room just before you find the Statue of Iblis (and the genie ring), there are riches to tempt you. But if you touch them, you are killed by a falling stalactite, 'cos you were greedy. Game over.
Your turn!

That was something of a guess. I looked at a video that shows "all" of the QFG2 deaths, but it didn't show this.
Okay, I have something in mind.

Are you in a game with "Quest" somewhere in the title?

Are you in a game that in any time takes place on Earth? (EcoQuest, Conquest, even SQIII would fall into this)

Perfect, now I have a chance. I don't have a lot of dynamix games committed to memory.
All right - to help narrow this down some more.
Are you in a game that has more than 2 in the series?

^ Exactly. This rules out GK and LSL.notbobsmith wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 12:06 amNoGabriel Knight had 3. Leisure Suit Larry hadRath Darkblade wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 7:26 pmUm, can it? *doubtful* It's not a Quest game, and I haven't heard of any others that do.76.
And the lack of Quest, knocks out EcoQuest and Conquest games.
And it's not Dynamix, so then it's not Heart of China, or anything.
Now, this is tricky.
Because - Colonel's Bequest was the original title, before it got a sequel. And then it became Laura Bow.
So the Quest would leave out the first.
But could leave the second.
So are you in the Dagger of Amon Ra?
