It seems to me that it's a fantasy, sure; it uses stop-motion animation, fine. Where does the "gothic" and/or "musical" part come in?
Anyway, here are my clues:
Why am I here?
Mysteriously convenient.
Shar, Pei?
Go ahead and guess.
Heh. Are you one of the pens that signs the guestbook that the hero uses?
There's plenty of Youtube videos which will give you the overall look and feel of the film. But "gothic" in the sense that Halloweentown is dark and foreboding. Like a haunted house. And "musical" because it is, well, a musical. There are songs like in a Disney animated feature.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 8:09 am Strange, I have never seen "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Wikipedia calls it a "gothic stop-motion animated musical fantasy film" ... which means nothing to me. Is it possible to put it in simpler terms?
