The Meryls of Rosella - Rosella steps through a magic mirror and winds up in an alternate dimension, which is populated by every character Meryl Streep has ever played. Dragged before the land's ruler, Margaret Thatcher, Rosella must track down Meryl's three Oscars before an evil gang of D-list celebrities find them. Rosella's quest is aided by Madeline Ashton giving her the immortality potion, thus allowing Rosella to put herself back together again each time she falls off a cliff.

Gold Crush! Saga. Oh noes! Your gold is trapped in a puzzle game full of earth, sediment, and rocks! You must identify three pieces of earth/rock/etc. that sit next to each other in order to eliminate them from the board and get your gold! (Comparisons to Tetris are welcome).

Fling's Quest: Quest for the Down. Rosella is hunting a good bargain on a down quilt blanket to fling on Alexander's king-sized bed.

Quest for Gory: Wages of Boar. Sierra On-Line partners up with id Software to produce this game, a cross between QfG3 and Doom. The Hero must hunt down the elusive wild boar and bring him home for dinner! MORE blood-splatter on the hero's clothes - hooray! Tarna Town Dry Cleaning© expects to make a fortune from cleaning the hero's clothes.

Like I said, I was too young to play it when it came out. I was only four. Now that I looked it up, I realise that I've heard the name. But it's been decades since I came across the name, so it's no wonder that I didn't connect it with "Mystery Spouse".

Jones in the Fast Train - Jones gets on the train to California (to get to the Gold Rush!(TM)) and beats the player by two months.

The Colonel's Request - Colonel Henri Dijon asks for (and enjoys) a ham sandwich with Dijon mustard.

Softcorn Adventure is a spoof of Softporn Adventure (the text adventure game thingie) for which Leisure Suit Larry is based off of. So the corn thing was an intentional nod to make it sound dirty, like a Larry game!

Oil's Smell is a nod to the game "Oil's Well."

And "Dead Carrion" is "Red Baron" which is why I specifically mention you're in charge of a vulture (flying... like a plane? Get it?) in search of carrion (since Vultures are carrion birds, typically).

Shadows of Dorkness - Leisure Suit Larry goes to Mordavia and hits on Katrina - and just about every other female character in the game. Oh dear ...

Romancing the Drone - In his attempts to escape a drone that is trying to kill him, Roger Wilco falls through a space-time continuum into Daventry and falls in love with Rosella. She, naturally, despises him. A mere janitor? Perish the thought!

Roger must thwart the drone and win Rosella over. (All right, all together: awwww...)
