After raising his throwing skill to 300, the hero is able to throw the baseball with unerring accuracy -- and so, having come face-to-face with the Demon Wizard, he throws the baseball and hits the Wizard on the forehead! The Demon Wizard is stunned and falls to the ground, where he hits his head and dies. Hooray for stupid deaths!

Baseball bat (autographed by Jackie Robinson), Quest for Glory 4

The Hero tries to use the bat against a wraith, but it passes right through it. He discards the bat, but then the spirit of Jackie Robinson appears! Wielding the bat, Jackie knocks the wraith "out of the park."

Hedge trimmer, Space Quest 4

The Big Bad of SQ4 threatens Roger with a laser gun, but Roger uses the hedge trimmer to cut off the Big Bad's trigger finger so he can't fire the gun!

As an alternative to spending the money, Larry trades his Baseball Autographed Babe Ruth photo to buy the bathing suit.

Bathing Suit, Quest for Glory 1.

The hero looks at the Bathing Suit in confusion before deciding that it must be some kind of special underwear, and so wears it underneath his hero clothes and never reveals it. How boring!

However, if the player goes near the lake (just southwest of 'Enry the 'Ermit's cave) and types in the special Easter Egg phrase "swim", then we are all treated to a sequence of the hero discarding his hero clothes and swimming in the lake. Hooray! Pixellated semi-nudity!

The hero is then approached by the Loch Spielburg Monster and asked why he is polluting her lake. If the hero is rude to the Monster, she eats him! If the hero is polite, the Monster takes him on her back and goes swimming off into the sunset. End of Quest.

tl:dr? Don't wear the Bathing Suit in QfG1.

Sword, Leisure Suit Larry 2.

Rosella wants to make the "climb the whale's tongue" part more challenging. So, she uses the razor to shave the tiny hairs off of the whale's tongue, so she won't have them to hold on to while climbing.

The hero of Manhunter (sorry, never played it) eats the bagel and gains 1 Stamina point! Whoops, wrong game ...

A bad joke, Leisure Suit Larry III

Leisure Suit Larry tells the bad joke onstage instead of dancing in the bad (and feathery) outfit. Instead of pelting him with money, the audience uses rancid tomatoes.
