This feels like from a very old thing, expanded upon - but very, very, very well done! I loved those!!!

Ah, the classic, "for every action you have a 5% chance to lose control of all motor function and mental faculties" style of DMing. ;)

Now I wonder if a player of yours ever rolled a 1 and lost control of their bowels. :P

There have been plenty of critical fails (at the worse, and sometimes, best) times, but I rarely go for bowel type jokes. :D

Session 16 - one of my players left at the end of this session...

Session 17... Another player left at the end of Session 16... which was ill timed as this session was very dependent on their character... so I just resumed their character for this session...

If you're bored...

Three more sessions -

18 - https://sites.google.com/view/lordofthe ... provisions
19 - https://sites.google.com/view/lordofthe ... and-beyond
20 - https://sites.google.com/view/lordofthe ... and-travel

I've been enjoying doing these last few sessions, due to lack of combat, and more focus on roleplay. Dreading doing combat eventually again. :D

This was pretty cool. Someone reached out wondering if the play by post was still going and if there was any openings... having lost 2 of my 4 players (and the 2 who had remained wanted to keep the game going so I filled the role with NPCs) - I said "Sure! Get a character to me!" So they rolled up a 3rd level Hobbit Captain, which I then introduced (perfectly timed because it happened to be Winter Yule in the game!)

So this is -
Session 21: The Winter Yule and New Companions.

The new player joins this session - they only posted a little bit - getting used to it.

Been redesigning and tightening up the site to make it cleaner - so the previous URLs may not work -

So best to just visit the main home page, for anyone interested. :)

No sooner did a new player join (last session), they departed the follow (this session) - and tried to make it all flow like a story!

So ... I have a question about plate armour. *ahem*

When I started reading about history, some books (including the D&D 2nd Ed. DM Source Books) told me that plate armour is heavy. Really heavy. You need to be in incredibly good shape, kind of heavy.

But other books (and videos) have told me that knights, especially in the later middle ages (I'm thinking mid-1250s to mid-1500s) wore it in battle and managed to fight without much bother. Many knights were so buff that they could vault onto their horses in full armour.

How do you treat plate armour? :) Just wondering.

Also, if you have a few minutes - this article is fairly concise, well-written, and entertaining: Four things that writers get wrong about knights and their horses. :) Enjoy!
