Choice of Sound in Sierra Installers.....

Hey everyone,
New to the forums, but not new to Sierra. I've been playing Sierra's adventure games (and Lucasarts for that matter) since I was a kid (I'm now almost 27)
I noticed on Collector's installers that he chooses to use General Midi, but I remember playing the games using SoundBlaster, and SB Pro sound and music when I was a kid. Is there a preference amongst the Sierra fanbase as to which driver is more "definitive" or "better" than the other. Am I missing out on using SoundBlaster?? It just more of what I'm used to, I guess.
Any info would be a help. Collector and I talked about it during some PMs to each other, so I'm curious as to what the rest of you guys think.
