Rama Alpha

So we were going through Patrick’s old games yesterday and we came across his alpha version of Rama. He was an alpha tester back when the game was still in the works. He remembered seeing an announcement on Sierra’s website at the time so he volunteered to help crash test it. They sent him two CD’s, the first one which I scanned and attached below.

So this question is for those hardcore collectors out there, how much would something like this go for? They only came in the white sleeves.

And here's a close up where you can read the inscription.

Hard to say, since i've never seen it being auctioned. A regular complete Rama would go on average for about $20, i'd say. Of course this one is far more rare, but it's impossible to say how much people would be willing to pay for it. $50 perhaps?

Hmm, ok thanks. I wasn't sure either since I've never seen anything like this being sold before. :)

Does this game have anything to do with sheep ringing doorbells? Y'know - "ram-a lam-a ding-dong..."? ;)
