Old news. Maia's been keeping a watch on this game for a long time.

Yes, old news, but new videos.
E3 stuff.

Hmm... E3 is still around? I remember hearing that it was shut down in favor of a new gaming show.

Yeah. E3 is around.

That's where I posted those other gaming updates from (Monkey Island, Mass Effect 2 {with new videos}, etc).

I see they re-branded their entire Dragon Age website as well. I'm pretty excited about this.

Same here. I think they were holding back till they could make all these cool releases, interviews, etc at E3.

Maia told me that the PC version of Dragon Age is finished, but the release date was pushed back in order to have both the PC and console version hit store shelves at the same time.
I don't see what the big deal is. After all, most of BioWare's games came out on a console long before a PC adaptation was made. I can't imagine it'd kill sales if a PC version was released before the console one.

I picked up my copy already, but I haven't had much chance to do more than get everything setup to go. It's been such a stressful week with work that I want to wait until I'm less tired and have a better attention span before diving into the story.
What class are you starting as, Tawm? I have a human rogue already to go.

I already know I am going to reply the character race/class over; but I went with what I think will be the easiest, first time around - Human Warrior.
But I look forward to doing the Elf Rogue next (is my idea), then the Dwarf Mage.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, you won't be able to do a Dwarf Mage. Aren't they mana resistant?
Anyway, I've created an Elf Mage, a Human Noble, a Human Mage and a Dalish Elf (all with the character creator, I don't have the game yet), and I'm really looking forward to hear your opinion on the game, Tawmis and Maia (and DPX?).

Well I am up to the part where my character has officially become a member of the Grey Warden... and let me tell you... this has been excellent. I am pretty much playing up the "nice answers" with this guy (since he is a Human Noble) - when I do the Elf Rogue, I will go for the slightly meaner answers.

Wow. So this game - a little harder than MASS EFFECT and JADE EMPIRE when it comes to the dialogue options... a lot of the options seem pretty gray from time to time... like I just saved someone from a cell to join our party (I won't say who or how) - but wow. To get the person, was... not easy. Perhaps some of my other skills were not high enough to be convincing... but phew. Sometimes you gotta make a a lot enemies to make a single friend.

Don't want to spoil anything...
But you will learn to hate the sensation of sloth and being faded...
It will make sense when you get there.
Trust me.
Oh gawd trust me.
