I've only ever heard of this and seen the box art. I always assumed it was a fantasy RPG. The music makes it sound like an action side-scroller on the NES. Looking it up, I guess it's closer to that than an RPG.

I bought it (what? Six? Seven? Ten? years ago - when I was still able to throw money at buying Sierra related games I didn't own) - and it was on 3.5" disks - which I managed to copy over using a USB 3.5 drive.

But I've never played it.

It fetches $49 US for it for the DOS version ( Example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224582475432?e ... SwQThhGX6T )

The game was developed by the Japanese company Falcom, so not so much of a fantasy RPG, but more of a Japanese side-scroller action/arcade game with a fantasy RPG theme.

Hmmm. The words "Japanese side-scroller action/arcade game with a fantasy RPG theme" reminds me of Golden Axe. But the graphics and gameplay here are much more reminiscent of Zeliard (albeit the graphics are slightly more primitive).

Am I right? Please correct me if I'm not. :)
