... probably because I'd uploaded some of my own 80's videos.

And it's some kids hanging out, playing games...

And the one on the left is playing Police Quest 1 (and by the sounds of the camera man, he's played it and knows the game)...

There's no sound on that video? I can't understand what's going on.

And yes, it is PQ1.

You must have it muted. There's sound.

Wow. 2.1 million views. I'm not sure I understand the interest.

Well, they have 115k followers.

This helps explain it -

Long story short, they recorded everything back in the 80s and 90s. Like. Everything. Even made home movies. And then took it and put it on Youtube. And comment on them, all these years later, revisit some of the places filmed (when the place is still there, or talk about what was there, and what's there now).

Cool idea. I'd uploaded some of the videos I did back in the 80s... but that was because I was exporting them off VHS and shoving them on Youtube for fun. Never did anything cool like gather my friends to talk about it today.

I guess that is a pretty cool idea. Little time capsules for everyone to watch.

Yeah. I admit after seeing the theme of the channel, I thought it'd be cool to do the same.
One of my friends (longest one I've known since the 4th grade) - he and I still hang out.
One of the others (Mike) lives in Arkansas. And the other, Shawn, I've fallen out of touch with.
But it'd be cool to do like a zoom meeting and talk about some of the videos we've done.
