Hello everyone,

I would like to apologize in advance for my bad English. I can't do it and have to work with the translator.

I have already spent several hours looking for a solution to get Urban Runner to run on a Win 10 PC.

I always get this 64-bit error message.

I have tried several times to install Windows 95 using Virtual Box or VMare but I still can't, even after watching lots of videos and downloading various files.

I would be happy if there is someone here who could help me, please.

I live in Switzerland.

Would you be able to translate what that error exactly says and post that?
I don't have Urban Runner, so my own support is gonna be minimal. But others may have it - or the error may give a clue.

I am guessing, that Urban Runner runs on Windows 95/98 - and the error - based off that last line - is something about Windows not being compatible.

I am wondering if you tried using ScummVM to run it, if that might work?

It basically says that the 16-bit installer can't be run on 64-bit Windows, which I didn't think was a problem with Windows 95/98. Or is this the error message trying to install Windows 95 itself?

Anyway, it shouldn't matter. Like Tawmis said, Urban Runner can be run with ScummVM:

Thank you very much for your quick response and help. I'm trying to start Urban Runner under Win10 with Win 95 compatibility. I get the error message mentioned.

I then did various things to install Windows 95. But none of it worked from the start. I'll try the suggested tool now.

Hello everyone,

unfortunately the joy doesn't last long. The game doesn't continue after I arrive at the occupied house and have to open the toilet door and turn on the light, take the board and then hide. Sometimes it just says that I didn't manage it. I cleaned the CD and also tried to start from the save location. It would be a shame if I couldn't play it after all.

Do I have to adjust something in the settings?

I know ScummVM supports games in different languages, so it should support the German version of Urban Runner.

Unless the game comes with a language option, I do not think that's possible. Not familiar enough with the game in question to know if it has language options. I know most of Sierra's games did not.

There was a German release of Urban Runner, but you would need to find a copy to play in German.
