This is amazing.

I was always horrible at this game. Fed it trillions of quarters.

But there was always something that drew me back to it.

I only remember the Saturday morning cartoon. I only learned about the game much later. I'm not sure if a mini-arcade makes sense for this game. Small screen. Awkward tiny control, which I think might be a problem since timing is important. And Dragon's Lair is available on PC (and consoles I think).

Oh, definitely the above is for very, very, very, niche (and I assume, somewhat rich) folks.
It DOES have HDMI, which I assume is HDMI out (as HDMI in would make no sense) which means you can connect it to a monitor or TV.
And USB for USB Controllers.

So you COULD play it on a TV/Computer screen with controllers.

Which defeats the purpose of the cabinet, but still, an option.

And I hate that you only know it from the cartoon.

I don't think you are that much older than me. But I never played arcade games as a kid. Oddly enough, I had this strange fixation with Pac-Man (watched the cartoon, got the cereal) even though I never played it. I did get one of those mini-arcades they made back then, though.

You had what was known as Pac Man Fever. I think everyone back then had it. I still collect Pac Man related stuff.

But back in the day, I was an arcade junkie. My friend Chuck and I would ride our bikes (which was about 14 mile according to google maps - but to be fair, that route is by car - we used to ride our bikes behind Mervyn's - which is now a Home Depot - and go through this gate, which to my surprise when I checked - still has the fence cut open lol - ) from where we lived to an area known as Plaza Bonita, because they had an arcade area called - from what I remember, I think it was called "The Goldmine" - (and reddit confirmed) because the front looked like a cave.

So, the song (despite being about the arcades, and beating his score, and getting that part) - musically, not my thing.

I know, I know, sacrilege to not really enjoy MOST of the Beatles catalog.

No worries about the Beatles. I grew up listening to my parents' Beatles records (original ones too, not remasters, says he without humblebragging ) ... so I guess you can see where that came from.

My father listened to a lot of country - and mostly Kenny Rogers (which I still listen to, when I am not listening to heavy metal).
And my mother listened to a lot of different Spanish musicians (including flamenco music) but listened to a lot of Julio Iglesias (which I can still listen to).

My sisters (both older than me) listened to a lot of Prince (prior to Purple Rain) and Daryl Hall & John Oats, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, Jackson 5, etc. Which I still listen to, also.

But very young, I was drawn more towards "rock" - and listened (at the time) to a radio station here in San Diego called 101.5 - which played stuff like Ozzy (RIP), Iron Maiden, etc., which - was all OK - but what hooked me was Quiet Riot (Cum On Feel the Noise, which ironically was a cover and Metal Health) and Ratt (Round and Round and Wanted Man). That began my plunge into "heavy metal" (which is what it was back then before the genre split into all these different sub genres).

And that kind of metal is still what I listen to (though, my iPhone has like 120 different metal bands... but also has stuff on there like Michael Jackson, Daryl Hall & John Oats, Kenny Rogers, Duran Duran, etc). But 99% of the time, it's metal I listen to.
