Hmm. Don't get me wrong; Tim's stroke affected his ability to talk, but hasn't made him completely mute. On the contrary, he can talk, and he's as sharp and witty as ever.

But unfortunately (from what I've seen), it is tiring for him to talk for long periods of time.
What about Grace?

In the original Sins of the Fathers, her voice work was done by Leah Remini (and by Cissy Jones in the remake). In GK2: The Beast Within, she was portrayed by Joanne Takahashi, and in GK3, she was played by Charity James.
Also ... hmm. In the original GK1, she wears glasses. But in GK2 and GK3, she doesn't. Did Grace have laser eye surgery (or is wearing contacts), or ...? Just wondering.
One last thing: according to the official GK1 Hintbook (page 5), Grace was 26 years old in 1993, and so born in 1967. But in GK3, her passport says she was born on 18 May 1968, which would make her 30 in 1998 (when GK3 came out).
I'm also not sure how old Gabriel would be: his exact age and birthdate throughout the series is inconsistent. According to the Sins of the Fathers novel, Gabriel was 33 in GK1, born in 1960. However, in the game where he was orphaned at 8, but the book says he was only a year old. In GK3, his passport says he was born on 28 January 1963, which would make him 35 in GK3 (or 30 in GK1).
Sorry, sorry! Little details, I know. But little details matter too.
All these details mean that by now, Grace would be 57, and Gabriel would be 62. So the
"Knight Family Curse" would have passed them by.

Perhaps, if this game happens when Gabriel and Grace are in their late-50s-and-early-60s-etc., we could see them raising their child and arguing about whether he would also be a Schattenjäger. Following the family line would obviously be dangerous, but not following it might mean evoking the old curse.
Or am I thinking too much?
