I am running Phantasmagoria 2 on XP using the (P2DOSPAT) patch in DOSBox v0.8.1. P2 Version in-game shows 001.0.00. I have tried to update the game to v1.1 (P2FIX) but once I extract the files to the directory, version still shows 001.0.00 in-game. Does anyone know if the 1.1 update is only applicable to the true Win95 version, or does anyone at least know how to tell if the 1.1 update has been applied successfully?

The Sierra patches rarely replace the version file, even if they update a game to a newer version. The P2FIX is mostly for Windows 95. It will replace your WININET.DLL file with an old version, which will be repaired by the System File Checker with the proper version for modern Windows. What gets added to the game's folder is just one file, 3485.CSC, and two documents, PHAN2TS.DOC and Patch.txt.
