Ladies and Gentlemen: the votes have been tallied and the people have spoken! Now, competing for the title of Best Adventure Hero:

Prince Alexander Versus Gabriel Knight

Let's get ready to rummmmmmbbbbbbblllllle!!!!!!!!!!

The KQ series has never been one of my favorites, so I'm going with Gabe.

A quick summary:

Alexander turned an evil wizard into a cat, defeated Medusa, killed a 3-headed dragon (while invisible), climbed dangerous mountain paths, defeated the minotaur, challenged the Lord of the Dead, and took on a swordfight with an evil vizir. His weaknesses: he often uses magic spells, cunning or just runs off to save his own skin. Oh... and he's afraid of spiders...

Gabriel likes to stumble into voodoo rituals, kills werewolves, passes deadly traps in an underground temple, fought vampires and a demon. His weaknesses: if it wasn't for Grace's assistance or his precious talisman, he'd be long dead. He also fights those creatures because he has no choice, but he'd rather run away from them, unless there's a chick involved of course. That's when his testosteron takes the upper hand.

Hmmm, i'll vote for Alexander.

Since KQ6 is my favorite game, I''l have to go with Alexander. Interesting that the two finalists are Jane Jensen characters. And yes, even though Jane did not create Alexander, KQ6 makes him one of her creative children.

I should've mentioned it last night, but when I was putting up the post, my iTunes shuffled over to "Eye of the Tiger." It was a very epic moment indeed.

My vote goes to Alexander. He can eat Chuck Norris and crap out lightning.

My real reason for going with him would also be because he doesn't have the luxury of someone telling him what to do all the time. At times, he has to use his investigative skills more thoroughly and to greater extent to figure out what his quest is and what he needs to do (see: KQ6, wherein a simple quest to meet a girl hits a dead end when he gets kicked out of her castle - and he spends the rest of the game sneaking past guards, battling a Minotaur, climbing mountains, and challenging the Lord of the Dead himself just to find out WHY he was kicked out of that castle.) I give perseverance the win here.

Alexander! Coz i'm just not that crazy about Gabe.

Going with Gabe. He's sneaky and underhanded when he needs to be, and Alexander would be entirely too naive to see it coming.

Alexander defeated the villain and got the girl in KQ6 plus made all of those spells in Kq6 and Kq3 so Im going with Alexander.

I know! This is going exceptionally well. I don't think I'll leave this final match up to a coin flip or random guest voter either. Poll keeps going until we have a clear winner!
