The Wii is an all around fun system. If people who aren't gamers enjoy some of the Wii games that they have put out.

Re: What are you playing now?
They're quite different than most Sierra "classic" games! Quite a bit more serious! But definitely play them!

Re: What are you playing now?
I remember liking PQ2 the most when I was younger. After going through them again, I think I like PQ3 the best just because of the story and how there's actual puzzles in it and not just police procedure. I still like PQ2 for it's driving system, though. "DRIVE TO _____" is a lot less hectic than missing turn-offs in PQ3 and not braking in time.

Same here! The PQ3 driving system was really horrible!Datadog wrote: I still like PQ2 for it's driving system, though. "DRIVE TO _____" is a lot less hectic than missing turn-offs in PQ3 and not braking in time.

OK, time to scout eBay for the PQ series!
Meanwhile I'm playing Totem Tribe...it's actually a fun little game! The animation makes me smile.

The "XP compatible" collection can still be found cheaply, if you don't mind not having the AGI version of PQ1. If you do get this version, don't forget the DOSBox upgrade patch. If you go with the 4 Most Wanted version, SHP has a new installer that will setup the games to run in DOSBox.Lynda wrote:OK, time to scout eBay for the PQ series!

Re: What are you playing now?
Right now I'm currently playing through both Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Zelda: Twilight Princess again. I have already beaten the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess but haven't beaten the Wii version yet. Everything in the Wii version is reversed from the Gamecube version. Ie- what was left on the map of the gamecube version is now right on the Wii version. Almost like a new game. Plus it's great in widescreen!

Re: What are you playing now?
While at my dad's house, Maia and I took time to play some of my old PS1 and PS2 games.
The three that stand out in my mind are Bushido Blade, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore and Soul Calibur 2. We wanted to continue Gauntlet: The Seven Sorrows and Justice League Heroes, but we never got around to it.
Maia actually kicked my butt in DOA2, but I did the same to her in SC2. I remember Maia saying that the female outfits in DOA2 were ridiculous. At least they toned down the so-called "breast physics."

The breast physics as ye called it for Ivy in the newest SC game are beyond ridiculous...
Glad to see another Soul Calibur fan.

Right now Im playing RB2 (Rock Band 2) for Wii and Freddy Pharkas. I like Freddy Pharkas so far. One of the frustrating parts in the game is understanding the Copy protection where you make the medication and doing that while under time restraint (ex solving the Flatulence part)

Currently playing Assault Heroes. I'm stuck in the last chapter. I'm trying to make a decent recording of it, but i'm always losing a life or 2 with the final boss. Tough level to pass in one time, even on easy setting.
