Leisure Suit Larry 1 VGA -
Leisure Suit Larry 1 RELOADED (if you played it) -
Leisure Suit Larry 2 -
Leisure Suit Larry 3 -
Leisure Suit Larry 4 5 -
Leisure Suit Larry 6 -
Leisure Suit Larry 7 -

Leisure Suit Larry 1 EGA -
Good: Excellent parser, BlackJack, humor, comedian, That Theme Tune, how Incredibly Much Content there is. Check out the script if you don't believe me! (on that note, who's Steve Woz?)
Bad: Well that dog got boring soon.

Leisure Suit Larry 1 RELOADED (if you played it) -
Best: Jan Rabson
Worst: Animation

Leisure Suit Larry 2 -
Best: I love the airport scene
Worst: Jungle

Leisure Suit Larry 3 -
Best: ehhhh... the cross-dressing?
Worst: the whole Patti sequence, the extreme linearity, how all the puzzles are basically stuff you need to look up in the manual.

Leisure Suit Larry 4 5 -
Best: keyboard playing, the memories of not being able to solve the boardwalk due to not knowing who Donald Trump was.
Worst: nothing to puzzle, little content (that feels exactly like the...)

Leisure Suit Larry 6 -
Best: two solutions to key copy puzzle, abundant content, Highly 90s Look
Worst: Peeing in the kitchen is one of Larry's lowest points.

Leisure Suit Larry 7 -
Best: Jan + Narrator dynamic, great characters, terrific music, best full score reward that's hard to achieve, artwork with innuendo hidden in it absolutely everywhere, chock full of great content...
Worst: I very quickly got tired of the balloon animal guy.

Larry Casino:
Good: BlackJack, joke machine
Bad: doesn't work anymore
There's a new script around: PHANTASMAGORIA - A Puzzle Of Flesh! Check the Script Party topic in the Bard's Forum!

Is that a reference to Steve Wozniak, the brains/co-founder of Apple?

Leisure Suit Larry 1 EGA -
Good = Tons of content, terrific idea, hilarious deaths
Bad = If you accidentally step into an alley, you may as well restart

Leisure Suit Larry 1 VGA -
*points above* Except better graphics.

Leisure Suit Larry 1 RELOADED (if you played it)
Good = Jan Rabson, especially Larry meets Larry
Bad = The buffet (ugh...), and .... it's two Larry ones later and they STILL haven't got rid of that %*@&&%@ comedian? :P

Leisure Suit Larry 2 -
Good = Almost everything
Bad = Jungle scenes. So. Many. Deaths.

Leisure Suit Larry 3 -
Good = Can play as Larry or Patti
Bad = extreme linearity, arcade sequences

Leisure Suit Larry 4 5 -
Good = Can play as Larry or Patti
Bad = Patti having to black up or you can't proceed, the "shower scene" ... ugh. I had to look away.

Leisure Suit Larry 6 -
Good = Almost everything, lots of content, VERY 90s look; luckily, Larry doesn't HAVE to pee in the kitchen if you don't want him to (and even if he does, it's not like that kitchen is hygienic to start with)
Bad = Can't think of much else

Leisure Suit Larry 7 -
Good = Jan + narrator (I agree!), great characters and music, artwork and innuendo together, Peggy STILL makes me laugh ... "HELLO, S[BLEEP]HEAD!" ... plus, the music while you talk to Peggy being "Blow the Man Down". And ... ask Larry to flirt with Peggy.
Worst = Bill Clinton impersonator that you can't skip if you want a perfect score. Is it possible to do ANYTHING about him? :-\ He's not funny, and he's not clever. I know that's the point, but ... ugh.

Also, the music when you find the "Where's Dildo" gets very old very fast.

Which is misleading - because you can go in the alley where the dumpster is. So I am not sure why Al thought to punish the player if they go in the other alley.

Need to replay it myself apparently - I do not remember the buffet scene.

Agreed. Although I was expecting more of "the stupid thing with the bag to throw down the volcano" because of the weird parser thing.

Hahah! For me the worse was indeed the arcade sequence.

I also thought the one good thing about LSL5 is, as far as I can tell/remember - it's impossible to dead end.

hahahah! Me and my boss still walk by each other every so often and go "Yeah, baby!" in the voice of that scene (and then do a quick jig of the music) :D

"Yeah, Baby!"... Why, that's the notification sound on my phone!

No, only kidding. It's actually the MIDI of the Score/Points Notification sound from LSL2... You know, the 5-note opening snippet of the LSL theme: Doo--deet--doo-doo--Deet.

Thank goodness for that. I thought for a second that you and your boss great each other with Peggy's "HELLO, S[BLEEP]HEAD!" :P

(OK, since you both know the game and you both know about Peggy, that might be OK. But imagine any passerby who didn't...? And then started something with HR...?)
