Today I found The Even More Incredible Machine (jewel case, missing the user's guide) in the same thrift store where I discovered the RWA and The Neverhood. My middle school's computer lab had this game installed on all the computers, and I spent a lot of time playing it when I'd finished whatever assignments I had to do there. It's great to finally have a copy of my own after more than ten years.

We've acquired a working Atari 2600 with 4 joysticks and about 10 games. We're figuring it out now...

One of the games is Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle. It's slightly bizarre. The little blue protagonist has such a feeble constitution he will get killed if he bumps into a fence.

And today I tried to run Hoyle Card Games. I picked the CD out the tray... and discovered a huge inch-long crack running from centre to about the middle of the silver.

It's been a while since my latest acquisition, but i went for a special one now: Hi-Res Adventure #0: Mission Asteroid from On-Line Systems for the Apple II, released in 1981.

Nice. The Hi-Res Adventures are really the only early Sierra games that I am interested in.
