Revisiting Old-School Text Adventures as a Jaded Modern Game

Post by DeadPoolX »

I spend a lot of time on Cracked.com (I believe Datadog goes there too) and when I saw this article I knew I had to post it here.

I don't know how many of you played (or even currently play) Text Adventures. Maia did starting with Moonmist and Zork. Even if you haven't (like me), you'll still get a kick out this. :P

Heh, heh. Yeah, I saw that yesterday. I love the part when Swaim comes on MSN and some of the player's commands go to him. FLEE!!!

*L* You know, I spent a little time reading that "Top 5 reasons why Megatron should never let Starscream live" thing on cracked.com... too true... which led me to investigate other places on cracked.com. Very, very funny - though far too big. How big is cracked.com, anyway? ;)
