Lego Sierra Characters!
I found Lego versions of "The Hero" and King Graham created by someone named "Morgan190" on Flickr. They're not actually built from Legos (although that would be really cool), but were designed like the little Lego figures.

That's top-notch work! I love the details on the QFG figures.

The King Graham is amazing. QFG was awesome too. Surprised there's no Leisure Suit Larry! That seems like it'd be easy...

Really amazing. The Magic User from Trial by Fire is my favorite, but every figure is indeed outstanding.

Re: Lego Sierra Characters!
LOL! You know, I've been playing QfG1, 2, 4 and 5 over the past 4 weeks, while I've been stuck house-sitting. The only computer I had there that had an internet connection was a Mac, so I dug up my old laptop (running Windows 98), grabbed my QfG Anthology and QfGV CDs, and got down to some serious gaming in my spare time... good memories.
These lego figures are priceless. I love the sly expression on the thief's face and the panicked expression on the fighter's.

This is Jamie (Morgan19 in the LEGO world) and I created these figures. I'm glad you all like them! The KQ and QFG games were how I spent an insanely large chunk of my childhood on our good ol' 486, so wanting to create these figures was a no-brainer for me.
Good point about Leisure Suit Larry... I admit I've never actually played the series, but I'll have to look into doing that one next.

Actually, they are built from real LEGO. The figures themselves are 100% real, physical LEGO pieces; the only thing that's "virtual" are the torso designs. I created those from scratch in Illustrator (like the professional LEGO designers would) and then overlaid each design atop the figures' torso in Photoshop so I didn't have to actually apply them to a LEGO piece permanently.DeadPoolX wrote:I found Lego versions of "The Hero" and King Graham created by someone named "Morgan190" on Flickr. Good to see you here!
Wait... so those aren't made from Lego figurines that come with most Lego sets?

Well... Yes and no, it's hard to say what you mean by that so I'll try and clarify. The figures themselves, like I'm showing them, are not sold by LEGO. What I do is mix and match various LEGO pieces from multiple sets to create new custom figures. For example, one of the QFG figures is made up of the following:
m19
- Hair - from a Harry Potter set
- Head - from a City set
- Torso/Arms - from a Space set
- Torso "decal" - my own design
- Legs - from Castle set
- Weapons - a Castle set

Re: Lego Sierra Characters!
Yup. I thought you meant you took the individual LEGO pieces (i.e. shapes that you build houses and stuff with) and made the Sierra characters. I think my choice of words in the original post was poor and that's where the confusion set in.Morgan19 wrote:Well... Yes and no, it's hard to say what you mean by that so I'll try and clarify. So while they're real LEGO pieces, yes, I take different figures from multiple sets, disassemble them, and then putting them back together as a new figure (in this case with a custom torso design as well). Make sense?

Welcome Morgan19. Stick around if you are a Sierra fan. This is one of the most active Sierra sites. Much of the community here go back to the old Sierra WebX boards and earlier, when Sierra was still Sierra. The main SHP site is dedicated to getting these wonderful classics working smoothly on modern PCs, if you want to relive any of these games.
Of course you would.AndreaDraco wrote:Your figurines are really amazing! I'd love to see Gabriel Knight added to the mix
