Just a quick thank you :)

Post by envisge0ne »

I just bought my new computer, new TB HD, graphics card, etc. It was being picky, but I finally got everything installed and running. I setup a partition with XP and Win 7. I found out I had to reinstall LSL 7 (win version) because it kept giving me a bunch of errors whenever I tried to run it. Tried reinstalling from the disc and it wouldn't bring up the installer. I could hear the musical chime like it was running, but no window popped up. I tried a bunch of different things, even re-installing it through Win ME using Virtual PC. Still kept getting the error messages. Couldn't get the Win or DOS versions to work. Well, it finally hit me *DUH!!* to go to this site and download the installer from here. So I did and it took seconds to get it up and running without any effort at all!
So I wanted to send a very happy and excited thank you to everyone that has put so much effort into making it easy for the rest of us to get these games running! I just wish it had occurred to me to go here 1st before messing with everything else. But lesson learned for future reference if/when I ever have another picky sierra game :)

Thanks again to everyone involved!
