I'm not sure what to say about this...
Maia and I saw the following sign while we were caught in downtown traffic. There's something very wrong about the apparent need to post that sign.
"Er, Tawni, not Tawmni, unless you are doing drag."

I guess because Vancouver has a serious problems with nuclear weapons... as you can see from all the nearby destruction.

I would have been more scared if the sign read: "Welcome to Vancouver: A Zuke Free Zone". :p
In all seriousness, the inanity of that sign scares me and amuses me at the same time. Observe: suppose, just for a second, that the Russians got really drunk on vodka and decided to nuke Vancouver. Do you suppose that they would look at that sign and say, "Hold on, we can't nuke Vancouver, it's a nuclear-weapons free zone. Right wheel comrades, let's nuke New York instead"?
