Teletoon Retro is my new favourite channel! Not only does it have tons of Loony Tunes cartoons and the old Spiderman, but it also has Reboot and Scooby Doo Where are You? every day! :D There are also several others that I remember fondly from my childhood, although they're a little difficult to watch now. Oh the nostalgia.

Yeah, Teletoon Retro has some good stuff. I've seen G.I. JOE, Transformers (the original G1 series), ThunderCats and Inspector Gadget on there, in addition to other old favorites.

I'm waiting for Voltron (the lion version) and C.O.P.S. to appear as well. Given those two are well known 1980s shows, I imagine they'll get on there eventually.

Oh and where the hell is Muppet Babies? I used to love that show. Of course... I was a little kid, too. I bet it'd be damn annoying now. :P

It's the old Spider-man from 60's.

Spider-man, Spider-man,
Does Whatever a Spider Can

Is that the one you're thinking of, Tawmis?

Ah, the Road Runner Show and Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show back to back...great stuff. The Batman animated series is also on there as well (yes the old Adam West silly one as well, but I'm talking about the good original Animated Batman Series).

I know that cartoon (and loved it) - but it was the other one I really, REALLY loved - the one that had Firestar and Iceman in it.

Why do Americans always get the best TV channels??? :(

If it makes you feel any better, Teletoon Retro is a Canadian channel. As far as I know, the United States doesn't get that channel.

The US has the Cartoon Network, but that rarely shows a lot of older cartoons. Apparently Australia (and a bunch of other countries) also have the Cartoon Network.

One thing the Cartoon Network has over Teletoon is the Adult Swim segment. Some of my favorite shows included Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and SeaLab 2021.

Man, those two shows are awesome! I don't know what all comes on Adult Swim, but I also really enjoy "The Venture Bros." In my opinion, it's probably one of the best adult cartoons in the last ten years.

Maia just reminded me that G4 shows HB:AaL in the evening. That actually brings up another show Maia and I sometimes watch: Reviews on the Run. It's a show that reviews video games (never would've guesses, right? ;)) that's based in Vancouver.

What's really neat is that the hosts (Victor Lucas and Scott Jones) shoot the show at various locations within Vancouver and Maia and I saw them recording one time at Queen Elizabeth Park.

Here's one of the photos:

Battlestar Galactica-related.

I find these two pieces of music simply amazing. Mesmerizing. I really can't stop listening to them.

Passacaglia - heard when Head Six shows Baltar the ruins of the Opera House on Kobol (Season One)

Kara Remembers - heard when Kara "Starbuck" Thrace plays the piano and figures out the "All Along The Watchtower" riddle thanks to Hera's drawing. Also known as "The Final Five Theme."

I am rewatching all my SUPERNATURAL DVDs...

And forgot what an amazing episode Road Kill was.

One of the best (story wise) of the series, without a doubt.

Even if you don't like the show, and like a good twist, this would be a great episode to see.

I like that episode (did you think of it because of Tricia Helfer and my previous BSG post? ;) ), even if it's not my favorite. If you're watching Season Two, you already saw my favorite episode: Faith, from Season One.

Hah - didn't realize she was in BSG? Hardly ever recognize actors/actresses unless I have a vested interest in them. But it's because I just got onto Season 3 of Supernatural DVDs... and was reflecting how very Edgar Allen Poe that episode was...

And Faith is your favorite? Interesting. Why is that? I mean, the reason I like it is because of what's-her-name-from-Dexter being in it.

Because it was very ambiguous from a moral perspective, because it challenged the viewer, providing some interesting food for thought, and because the Reaper was scary. But also because I like Dean-centric episodes and because Faith is the first Supernatural episodes that really grabbed my attention and got me hooked.
