For instance... in SQ3, right at the beginning, you can type "touch metal." Your hand then gets sliced off and you die from blood loss. That's just stupid. I can see dying from a number of things (not the least of which was Arnoid in that game), but merely touching some metal?
Anyway, back on topic... dying from ridiculous things. This reminds me of the D&D module, the Tomb of Horrendous Doom or somesuch... step through the door, find some statue with an open mouth, touch the mouth... and you DIE!
That always struck me as profoundly unfair.
