Over 2 feet of snow in the mountains - so Odin and I made our way. I snapped this picture of Odin unleashed.

My latest. It's a fanart of Minecraft. Been hooked on that game a lot lately.

Reminded me of Pharaoh, only deeper, richer color.

Granted, I love jigsaws and Impressionist art, but I wasn't too happy when Dad bought a 1000 pieces jigsaw of Renoir's Bal du Moulin de la Galette for me. Painting jigsaws are a right pain in the butt, since textures are similar and many parts of the image are basically large globs you couldn't find if you studied the original, painted a reproduction and wrote a thesis on it.

Still, I started on it, and now we're working fiercely. By comparison, I can solve a standard landscape jigsaw in less than 24 hours. On Moulin, I'm happy if I can make three connections in an hour.

Dad loves jigsaws himself and he was on it for hours himself today, so I decided to surprise him and sneakily change the Vista wallpaper.

BBP, that brought to mind a little treasure we have here. Georges Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte was made into a topiary. The garden is just east of the Main metropolitan library in the downtown area.

Here is the painting for comparison:

I agree. It is such a beautiful idea. The atmopshere must be great in that park!
