Next up, VGA era. Because these polls only allow up to 12 entries, I'm going to have to split a lot of these up into two parts starting with the VGA era. SCI1.0 games, which were games with 256 colours and black and white (and sometimes grey) coloured cursors, with the exception of KQ5CD which was SCI1.0 but had coloured cursors. These games usually also had an alternate version reworked in 16 colours with an EGA320 driver. Space Quest IV got an SCI1.1 upgrade later on for its CD version but it started as an SCI1.0 game and had a lot of life in that version of the interpreter so that's where it stays. The only exception is Eco Quest I, which has an SCI1.0 disk version as well, but also has two other SCI1.1 versions (disk and CD). So majority wins. If the EGA-only SCI1.0 version of this game ever had been found (I still say it exists somewhere) then I'd throw it on this list, but since it hasn't the amount of SCI1.1 versions wins out and it'll be on the next poll. It was one of the last SCI1.0 games made anyway.
I'm obviously going with Space Quest IV. If you hadn't guessed by now, I consider SQ4 the greatest thing Sierra ever made.

Stepped away from Larry for a change and went for Castle of Dr Brain. The room jigsaw is fantastic!

I went with Conquests of the Longbow, because of its rich, enthralling story, its incredibly detailed background, its atmospheric writing, its well-fleshed characters, its non-linearity, its multiple endings and its entrancing soundtrack. A real masterpiece.

Toss-up between Longbow and SQ4 for me, but I'll have to go with Longbow just because I like the characters and missions.

Ok, doesn't look like any more votes will be passed. If they do, they'll be double-checked for the final round. As of now, KQ5 is the clear winner! Onto VGA SCI games PART TWO! http://www.sierrahelp.com/forums/viewto ... f=2&t=2604

I chose Space Quest IV. I was leaning towards KQ5, but it's too saccharine.
