Really?
I must've skipped the note.
Well everyone's entitled to their own opinions. For example, I honestly think Torin's Passage is one of the best told stories, in terms of Sierra games. It's an interactive Disney-like cartoon. With a mess of interesting and different characters. Interesting little sub worlds. Interesting concept. I dunno, to me Torin's probably ranks as one of the tops - over KQ6 or GK2.

But there's no way it will beat out KQ6 or GK2 in a poll.

I think Torin could have been one of their best myself. I like the story, the characters, the puzzles, the locations, the humor - but what always gets me is the edits. The ending is cut short, the love interest and villains only have bit parts, and that third world was pretty much completely explored in a single cut-scene. If there were an extended version of the game, then it might rank up there as one of my favorites.

Oh, it wasn't flawless. But if it had been given the six or seven CD treatment that GK2 was given, as you said, it would have no doubt been pretty their best! :)

Went with KQ4 - although I am enjoying QFG2.

Ah but if you start thinking like that... what would have happened if that one chapter wasn't cut out of GK2, would the opera have made sense? If the original Moustache puzzle could've been animated, would people think of GK3 as the game that rescued adventure gaming?
There's a new script around: PHANTASMAGORIA - A Puzzle Of Flesh! Check the Script Party topic in the Bard's Forum!

I think both versions of the puzzle sound equally illogical. The real question is - what would have happened if that puzzle had been filmed in live-action? Because something tells me that if a blond actor stuck black hairs under his nose with syrup just to rent a moped, it would look so silly that they'd stop filming halfway through and just re-write the puzzle.

Of course, in Phantasmagoria 2, they DID film a puzzle where your rat retrieves your wallet...

That was probably my vote... :D

As much as I love KQ6 I had to vote for GK2 this round. It was either between that or QfG4. It's so hard to choose between those three equally amazing games.

You copied off my main picks. But I'll stand proudly with QFG4 so it gets a little love at least.
